I loved this hike even with the snow it was one of the most relaxing and beautiful hikes. Its a fairly easy hike 6 miles round trip to the lake and back. A view of three fingered jack like none other.

Number One
Tamolitch Pool AKA Blue Pool
Mackenzie River Trail
Best Hike of the Year. 4.2 miles round trip, Easy.
the pool is one of the greatest hidden gems in oregon. Even on a cool day it is worth the hike. And as a freindly tip if you plan on swiming use your common sence and be safe, though it is very inviting it has been known to kill.

Number Three
Smith Rock state park.
Crooked River Grass Lands.
i would suggest doing it early summer before it gets to hot. The scenery is beautiful and being able to watch the rock climbers all over the park is very insperational and fun.

Number Five
Echo Basin
Willamette National Forest.
About a Three mile loop, Moderate, this is one of my favorites because you hike in to a beautiful meadow that is filled with wild flowesr and over looks a canyon to echo lookout.
